Truewind helps bookkeepers automatically research vendors and assist in transaction tagging in your accounting system (such as Quickbooks or Sage Intacct). Truewind does this by pulling your transactions and preparing the research for your bookkeeper and looking at previously tagged transactions. In order to pull transaction data from Chase Business through an Authorized User account, your bookkeeper needs to have the Third-Party App Access permission turned on. Below are the steps to provide this to your bookkeeper.


Client needs to go to “Account Management” > “Access & Security Manager”



As a bookkeeper, your client can you via Add authorized user or if you are already added, they can use manage user .



In the “Authorized User” Settings, check the box for Third-Party App Access



Per Chase, these are the permissions being provided by selecting this option.

Giving users Third-Party App access allows them to connect and upload Chase account information to third-party applications we've authorized (such as QuickBooks® Online). Users may be able to connect and upload account details (such as account nickname, partial account number and scheduled payments or interest rates), transactions (balances, and posted/pending transactions), tax information (details from latest 1098/1099 forms), and/or personal information (name and address of authorized user(s) and/or account owner(s)).

You should also give the user access to the specific accounts you would like for them to manage by selecting the account and selecting “General Services”.



Once these boxes are checked, you’re all set. Let your bookkeeper know that they can start saving time on categorizing your Chase transactions.
